Summer Academic Programs

Excelorators

Excelorators is excited to announce the launch of its 2017 Summer Student Programs -- empowering youth to build character, confidence, and charisma, as well enjoy a cross-cultural experience like no other.  The programs are designed for all students, ages 13 - 18, and for the summer of 2017, we will have four programs:

  1. West Point - Global Leadership Academy
  2. Stanford & UC Berkeley - Innovation & Technology Academy
  3. Cambridge/Boston - Entrepreneurship Academy
  4. MIT / Boston - STEM / EDGE Academy

Our network of faculty and mentors share their experience, strength, and hope from their own successful academic and business lives to help students realize their own dreams and goals. At Excelorators, we educate without regard for borders, ceilings, or walls -- providing both executives and future business leaders the tools to succeed in business and in life. Enroll today in this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to expand your experience and create life-changing opportunities and friends from all over the globe.

Best regards,

FEMA - Youth Preparedness Council

Youth across the Nation have the opportunity to make a difference and transform the resilience and preparedness of their communities and beyond. Students in 8th, 9th, 10th, or 11th grade who have engaged in community services or are interested in emergency preparedness, are encouraged to apply to serve on the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Federal Emergency Management Agency’s (FEMA) Youth Preparedness Council.

Formed in 2012, the Council engages members in local and national emergency preparedness projects. Members are selected to serve two-year terms. Members represent the youth perspective on emergency preparedness and share information with their communities. They also meet with FEMA on a regular basis to provide ongoing input on strategies, initiatives, and projects throughout the duration of their term.

Adults working with youth or emergency management are encouraged to share the application with youth who might be interested in applying. Applicants must submit a completed application form, two letters of recommendation, and academic records.

Applications are due March 31, 2017. For more information and to see the projects current members are working on, visit the Youth Preparedness Council website. To submit an application, visit the application website
